Fretron Ops Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
Fretron Ops is a warehouse and logistics operations app provided by Fretron Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Fretron", "we", "us") for authenticated Fretron customer organizations. This privacy policy explains how Fretron Ops accesses, collects, uses, shares, protects, retains, and deletes user data.
Developer and Privacy Contact
Fretron Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Gurugram, Haryana, India. For privacy questions or data requests, contact sunil@fretron.com.
Data We Collect or Access
- Account and work identity data such as name, email address, tenant, role, facility, and session information.
- Operational logistics data entered or viewed in the app, such as workbench activity, gate entry, receiving, put away, trip, pickup, delivery, proof, and exception details.
- Device location data, including precise or approximate foreground and background location, when an authenticated operator starts or is assigned active trip tracking.
- Camera and photo data when the operator scans codes or captures operational proof such as pickup, delivery, warehouse, or exception evidence.
- Device, app, and diagnostic data such as device type, app version, network status, error logs, and security/audit metadata.
How We Use Data
- To authenticate users and enforce tenant, role, facility, and data-scope access controls.
- To run warehouse and logistics workflows for the user's employer or customer organization.
- To enable trip tracking, dispatch visibility, ETA support, pickup and delivery execution, and exception handling during active trips.
- To attach scan/photo proof to operational records and support customer service, compliance, and audit workflows.
- To secure, debug, maintain, and improve Fretron services.
Location Data
Fretron Ops uses location data only for logistics operations. During active trip work, the app may collect foreground and background location so dispatch and operations teams can monitor trip progress, pickup and delivery execution, ETA, and exceptions even if the operator switches apps or locks the device. Tracking stops when trip tracking is stopped or the trip is completed. Fretron Ops does not sell location data and does not use it for advertising.
Sharing
We share user data only as needed to provide Fretron Ops. Data may be visible to authorized users of the user's customer organization, such as dispatch, warehouse, operations, administrators, or support teams. We may share data with service providers that host, secure, monitor, or support Fretron services, and when required by law, contract, or valid legal process. We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.
Security
Fretron uses access controls, tenant isolation, audit logs, and modern cryptography such as HTTPS/TLS in transit to protect personal and sensitive user data. Access to operational data is restricted based on authenticated user permissions and customer organization configuration.
Retention and Deletion
Fretron retains operational and audit data for as long as needed to provide services, meet customer contract requirements, support logistics records, and comply with legal or regulatory obligations. Users or customer administrators may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data by contacting sunil@fretron.com. Some operational, security, audit, or compliance records may be retained where required by law, contract, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legitimate business needs.
Children
Fretron Ops is intended for business users and is not directed to children.
